In the kitchen …In the garden …![]() If it were not for my 'green thumb' we might have enough of these beauties to be canning now but I seem to be an over ambitious pruner when it comes to tomatoes and took the tops right out of them. One year I'll get it right! For now our 8 tomato plants are just enough to give us a few every couple of days.
farm animals …I know it doesn't look this way but these are two different kittens, twins! The children call them 'baby mama cat' 1 and 2 since they look just like mama other than the blue eyes. I also forgot to say that I love to see catholic customs and traditions that come with the Liturgical year. Traditions in the garden, home and kitchen. I really think it must have been wonderful to live in Christendom Europe when village life, folklore, food and clothes were crafted under the rhythm of the Church year!!!

I came here by way of Cathswap. I have ordered your liturgical calendars, children's planners and St. Francis nature journals for my children this year. I love them! It is my dream to live in an area where we can grow some of our own food and have a few farm animals. We are expecting our 10th baby in a couple weeks (baby girl). I would love to have your natural salve on hand. Looking forward to checking back here often. Many Blessings on all your endeavors!

I always look forward to seeing your weekly updates. So excited about the hoop house! We'd love a nice greenhouse like that, but it'll be a while for us. We're going to try to make a large (4x8x2), insulated cold frame so we can grow lettuce through most of the winter. It'll be interesting to see how well that works out. It's colder here than where you are. :)
